The following are the standard terms of business under which Rose Cottage Veterinary Centre provides veterinary services.
All fees are due at the time of service, unless prior arrangement has been made. Payment can be made by cash, debit or credit card.
From 16 November 2026, emergency calls to 01928 717581 outside our opening hours transfer to MiNightVet Chester. Until then, ring us as usual. See our Emergencies page.
Missed appointments without cancellation incur a £30 charge so that slots stay available for patients in need.
We are happy to process direct insurance claims with your authorisation. As of 1 October 2023, we charge a nominal £6.00 to complete a direct insurance claim — a fee we held off introducing since the practice opened in 1984.
Repeat prescriptions require 48 hours’ notice. Pets on long-term medication require periodic re-examination.
